Empowering Birth Professionals Everywhere
Hear directly from Ashle, a newly certified Childbirth Educator from Central Florida, about what she loved most about the DNT Network course—how the training gave her tools to teach with confidence, how supported she felt throughout the process, and how certification is helping her open new doors to guide and educate families in her community.
Hear from our distinguished course reviewers:
“I enjoyed the layman's terms once more for someone who is new and wants to start working with the support of parents. I also enjoyed the youtube videos which can offer more insight when it comes to mothering the mother (or supporting the birth person). Creating modules that provide insight is great too. The additional resources and highlights help solidify information as well and can help the students prep for their exam.” - Kirstie Daza, Birth & Postpartum Doula from Pinole, California

Great question—and you’re not alone. We understand it can be challenging to find someone willing to participate, especially if you're just starting out in the field.
Here are a few options and suggestions:
Alternative interviews: If you’re unable to connect with a professional in the required role (e.g., a Certified Infant Care Specialist), you may be allowed to substitute with two caregiver or parent interviews instead. These can be with families you’ve supported in the past or individuals open to sharing their experiences.
Reach out to your extended network: Sometimes a friend, coworker, or acquaintance knows someone who fits the criteria—you just have to ask around.
Post in local or online groups: Try parenting forums, Facebook groups, Nextdoor, or doula-related communities. Mention that it’s a short interview for a certification course.
Use BornBir.com: Our partner platform, BornBir.com, features a large network of birth and care professionals. Many of them are open to mentorship or quick interviews with students from DNT Network.
We’re here to support you, so feel free to reach out if you need any help.

What Our Students Say
“I absolutely loved everything about this course! The assignments were incredibly helpful for preparing my business, and I even found some useful for social media. As a mom six months postpartum with a toddler and a busy schedule, I truly appreciated the course’s flexibility. It was laid-back yet engaging—exactly what I needed!”
— Jessica L. (Birth Doula)
“I’m so glad I chose DNT Network over other certification programs! The course strikes an ideal balance between evidence-based medical knowledge and holistic approaches to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. While I prefer natural methods, the training has prepared me to confidently support clients in medical environments as well. A major plus is that no re-certification is required! DNT Network gave me all the tools I needed to feel confident as a doula, and I’ve been able to support many families while completing my certification.”
— Kyra H. (Birth Doula)
“The DNT Network course was outstanding! It was comprehensive, well-balanced, and filled with valuable information. The self-paced structure and diverse learning methods—reading, quizzes, audio, and video—made the experience both engaging and highly effective.”
