This Agreement outlines the postpartum doula services to be provided, along with payment terms, expectations, and boundaries agreed upon by both parties.

Scope of Postpartum Doula Services

The postpartum doula agrees to provide non-medical, in-home postpartum support focused on the physical, emotional, and practical needs of the client during the postpartum period. Services may include newborn care, feeding support, emotional support, parent education, and light household tasks directly related to postpartum recovery and newborn care.

The postpartum doula does not provide medical care, clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and does not replace licensed medical professionals. Any medical concerns should be directed to the appropriate healthcare provider.

Hours and Duration of Services

The client agrees to purchase a total of __________ hours of postpartum doula support. Each visit will be approximately __________ hours in length, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Services must be used within __________ weeks following the birth, unless an extension is agreed to by both parties.

Scheduling and Rescheduling

Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive working environment. The client also agrees to communicate scheduling needs, concerns, and changes in a timely manner and understands that postpartum support may vary from day to day.

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice. Refunds, if applicable, will be handled according to the cancellation and refund terms outlined in this Agreement.

Optional Add-On: Overnight Postpartum Care
